Our Firm

The law firm of Frank, Spicer & Cox, P.C., was formed in 1985 by Marshall J. Frank. A graduate of Virginia Tech, Mr. Frank had been a successful business owner and real estate broker in Blacksburg, Virginia for many years before deciding to attend law school. He established the law firm after obtaining his law degree from Campbell University in North Carolina and began representing clients based upon his unique experience and understanding as a business owner and realtor. In 1994 the firm expanded when Stephanie G. Cox joined the practice, bringing to the firm strong litigation skills in family law, civil actions, and criminal defense. John N. Spicer joined the firm in 2004 bringing civil litigation experience, in house business general counsel experience and commercial real estate experience and on January 1, 2005, the firm officially became Frank, Spicer & Cox, P.C. Today, Mr. Spicer and Ms. Cox handle the day to day responsibilities of the firm and our clients needs with Mr. Frank continuing to serve in an advisory capacity with ongoing involvement in our real estate division.
